Willie A. Holsonbake
Augusta, GA – Willie A. Holsonbake, 88, husband of the late Hazel Walden Holsonbake and the late Alice Holsonbake, entered into rest Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 16, 2021, at 2:00 PM from Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Bert Daniel officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside.
Mr. Holsonbake, son of the late Doris Reid Holsonbake and Milledge Holsonbake, was born in Augusta and was a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church. He was a veteran of both the United States Army and the United States Navy. He was an electrician with IBEW Local #1579 and a member and Past Master of the Fleming Masonic Lodge #718. He was a 32˚ Scottish Rite, and a member and Past Worthy Patron of the Alice Warren Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #483.
He is survived by his children, Perrin A. Holsonbake, of Augusta, and Diane H. Austin, also of Augusta; and his grandchildren, Perrin A. Holsonbake, Jr, and Jimmy Austin, Jr.
The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
