William Rogers “Bill” Rebeck

Augusta, GA – William Rogers “Bill” Rebeck, 78 of Grovetown. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Rebecca Louise Arnett Rebeck of 53 years, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic gained his wings on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

Plans for a memorial service to celebrate Mr. Rebeck’s life are pending and will be announced.

Born in Gary Indiana, July 14, 1942, he was the son of the late Joseph Paul Rebeck and Irene Williams Rebeck. He served in the US Army from 1960 to 1981, assigned to the unit the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment Blackhorse Vietnam. Following retirement, he drove a school bus over 14 years for Richmond and Columbia County School Systems’ where he was so loved by students, student parents and co-workers. His most prized accomplishment was being married to his wife and making a family together.

Bill is survived by his sons Richard, George, and Jeff (Janet) a daughter Alexa Axon (Dustin) and a grandson Coty Rebeck.His children remember him as a special wholehearted man that cared more for his families happiness, and friends. Who had an open-door policy for others to call his house their home, who did not know a stranger and was absolutely loved by many!
