  1. Rest in peace wonderful lady. You were a great evening/night supervisor when I first met you at MCG in 1991. An angel of mercy is finally at home.

  2. Velma was greatly loved and respected by many and she will be missed. I’m so sorry that we lost contact after she retired. Because of that I missed years and time that I could have had with her. Because of Jesus I know I’ll see her again.

  3. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. I knew Velma from our Army days together and then after we retired we worked together at MCG. She was a devoted nurse and worked well with everyone to make sure her colleagues and patients were well taken care of. She was a joy to know.

  4. I was so blessed to have been mentored by you in my career and so sad to hear of your passing. I know you are at home with the Lord. Thank you Velma. You are one of the greats!
