Traci New Simless
Evans, GA – Traci passed away peacefully early in the morning on the 21st of July, 2020, due to complications from her second bout with cancer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020, at 2:00 PM from the Sanctuary, 4584 Cox Rd, Evans, GA, with Pastor Bryan Cockrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the church.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother, friend, and child of God. She was the heart of her family and will be truly missed. She raised four children and eight grandchildren, with a ninth due in January. Life bloomed wherever she went, and she was an avid gardener, voracious reader, and lover of animals. A native Augustan, she played piano beautifully, finished every puzzle she ever started, and was a devoted member of The Sanctuary church.
She was welcomed into heaven by her mother Frances, father Tommy, and older brother Mickey.
Her memory lives on in her older brother Jesse, her husband Jeff, their children JB (Kim), Trenee (Josh) Newman, Claire, and Ty. Her grandchildren William, Jillian, Mackenzie, Jackson, Colt, Savannah, Madison, and Sam will always love and miss their CiCi.
