Tammy Anita Morris
Augusta, GA – Tammy Anita Morris, 61, wife of the late David Eugene Morris, Sr., entered into rest on Friday, March 26, 2021 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held at the Calvary temple Assembly of God, on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverends Ray Farmer and J. Toro officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens.
Born in Augusta, GA on July 24, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Henry and Beatrice Elizabeth Maddox Stuckey, and had made the Augusta area her home most of her life. Mrs. Morris was loved by many, loved caring for others in her job and always put her family first. She was a God loving woman who enjoyed music and her church, Calvary Temple Assembly of God, where she was a devoted member.
She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Hunter Morris, Amber Jordan and Lacy Nicole Phillips.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her children, Michael Phillips, Tonya Self, William Phillips, Raymond Phillips, David Morris, Jr., and December Morris; as well as 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
