Steven “Steve” M McGahee
Augusta, GA – Steven “Steve” M McGahee, 62, entered into rest Thursday, February 9, 2023.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 4 o’clock from the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors with Chaplain Mike Sides officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mr. McGahee was a lifelong resident of Augusta. Prior to his illness, he was a supervisor with Bill Beazley Homes and enjoyed fishing, competing in fishing tournaments and working in his yard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin McGahee and Carolyn Holcomb McGahee; his son, Steven N. McGahee.
Survivors include his loving companion, Cindy Adams; her children, Mandy Tapley, Sherry Tapley, and Bryan Stewart; her seven grandchildren and her two great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Dunbar; a brother-in-law, Robin Aycox.
