Ruby Hixon Johnston
Augusta, GA – Ruby Hixon Johnston, 78, wife of the late Paul Johnston, entered into rest Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Doctors Hospital.Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 2:00 PM from Hillcrest Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnston, daughter of the late Carrie Bilton Hixon and William Hixon, Sr, was born in Augusta and was a waitress at Bobby’s BBQ.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer.
She is survived by her children, Randy Cottone, Cindy Faglier (Terry), Cathy Morris (Bryan), and Missy Almodovar; her grandchildren, Chevy, Mark, Matthew, Madison, Isabella, Brenda, Emily, Randy Jr., and Jessica; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; her brother, Tom Hixon, Sr; and her sister, Eloise Cooper.
