Paulette Fort
Augusta, GA – Paulette Fort, 62, entered into rest on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park, at 2:00 P.M., on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, with the Pastor James Peoples officiating.
Born in Wilkes County, GA on April 23, 1958, Paulette was the daughter of the late Arthur Lewis and Eunice Rene Huff Fort, Sr., and she had made the Augusta area her home all of her life. Miss Fort worked in her families’ business, Fort’s Cleaners, as a counter clerk, she enjoyed shooting pool and had been involved in several pool leagues around Augusta and was a former member of Crawford Avenue Church of God.
Miss Fort is survived by her siblings, Lewis Fort (Linda), Paul Fort, Nita Fredrikson (Ken), James Fort and Janice Davis; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
