  1. Mrs. Wendy was truly an Angel here on earth. Her love of food, which I used to stay up at night and watch her cook online, her love of her family and her kind spirit were such a joy and a blessing to witness. I felt like she was always teaching and mothering to all that came in contact with her. Even though my heart breaks for her family, I rejoice in knowing she is resting with the Lord. To her family – hold on to all the memories and love she left you with and know that she will surround you always with a greater love until you meet again. My prayers for peace and comfort and my love are with all of you always!

  8. 🌹In regards to mom (Espy/Wendy)‘s passing💕

As extremely overwhelming as the last 11 days have been, dad (Willie), Cookie, Sylvia (Khouri)+Havi, Rebekah (Bekah)+Matthew, and mom’s entire family extend our combined most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has reached out to us, donated monetarily to offset the overall cost, and supported us in every possible way during this truly difficult and life changing time.

The loss of mom on Tuesday, 29 November 2022 is weighing really heavy on us and many who also knew and loved mom too. As we have already began navigating life without her physical presence, please continue to bare with us as a family. It will still certainly take time to process, to cope, and to heal as we get back into to the full swing of things.

To those who were able to attend mom’s memorial service and/or Oneg (festive meal gathering)/repass yesterday on Friday, 9 December 2022, we are very thankful for you taking the time to travel and spend time with us. To those who could not attend, please do not feel bad. We completely understand and are very appreciative of you for even thinking of us. Most of all, we wish to thank Fort Gordon’s Honor Guard for providing a beautiful and dignified presentation for mom’s honorable military service in the US Army.

    Thank you all.
