Mary A. DeLaigle Odom
Augusta, GA – Mary A. DeLaigle Odom, 94, wife of the late William Herbert Odom, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 7, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Theus DeLaigle and Lucille Sharpe DeLaigle, she was born in Telfair Community in Burke County, GA.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 11:00 o’clock at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Chris Lott officiating.
Family and friends will meet at the graveside.
Mrs. Odom was retired from Gracewood State School and Hospital, where she was employed as a nurse’s aide; she was a member of Mann-Mise Memorial UMC.
She was preceded in death by Robert F. Turner, daughter, Shirley Yvonne Turner Hallahan, grandson, William Fairman, and her granddaughter Catherine Fairman, and great granddaughter, Makenna Arildsen.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Turner Sebold Ezernack (Ronnie), Priscilla Gale Odom-Buckheister (Robert); grandchildren, Jonathan Sebold, Todd Ezernack, Brad Ezernack, Chris Ezernack, Zachary Buckheister, Matthew Buchheister, Jennifer Linden, and Stephanie Arildsen; her 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren, her sisters, Jackie Chance, and Elaine Long, her numerous nieces and nephews, and canine companion Abbie.
Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the funeral home.
