Marshall Mathis McClellan
Augusta, GA – Marshall Mathis McClellan, 81, husband of Catherine Geneva Hall McClellan, entered into rest Monday, January 31, 2022, at University Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Pastor Pat Latta officiating.
Mr. McClellan, son of the late Ida Williams McClellan and Emmitt McClellan, was born in Burke County, GA. He retired after 42 years of employment from Boral Brick Company as a production scheduler and was a member of Fleming Baptist Church. He served in the US Air Force as a weapons mechanic.
He is preceded in death by his son, David McClellan; his brother, Emmitt McClellan, Jr. of Augusta; his sisters, Madeline Watkins, Sylvania, GA, and Margarette Hooks, Millen, GA, Martha Cleland, Sylvania, GA.
In addition to is wife, he is survived by his son, Stephen N. McMclellan (Connie), Augusta; his brother, Elton McClellan, Appling, GA; his sisters, Nancy Oliver, Sylvania, GA, and Elease Counts, Warrenville, SC; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 7, 2022, from 1:00 PM until time of service.
