Lorraine Reid
Hephzibah, GA – Lorraine Reid, 75, wife of Richard Wayne Reid, entered into rest Thursday, March 12, 2020, at University Hospital.
Memorial services will be held Monday, March 16, 2020, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Pastor David Martin officiating.
Mrs. Reid, daughter of the late Maisie Eunice Skinner and W.B. Skinner, was born in Raleigh, NC, and was a private duty nurse with Elder Care.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra “Debbie” Leedom-Freeman, and her brother, Joe Bailey.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Billy Kay (Donna) and Natasha Martin (Rodney); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Nichole Courtney (Nicolas) William Burt Leedom (Haley), Haley Lorraine Martin (Justin), and Angela Cheyenne Kersey (Brian); her great grandchildren, Michael Thomas Courtney, Wyatt Conner Leedom, Mackenzie Faith Courtney, and Sawyer Ridge Leedom; and her sister, Alice Fay Edwards (Ed).
The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
