Lois S. Watkins
North Augusta, SC – Lois S. Watkins, 86, wife of the late Russell Watkins, entered into rest Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Hammond Place.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 1:00 o’clock, from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Steve Hartman officiating.
Mrs. Watkins, daughter of the late Phillip B. Smalley Sr., and Lela Spencer Smalley, was born in Gaffney, SC.
Mrs. Watkins was a member of Silvercrest Baptist Church.
Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her son, Leslie Watkins.
Mrs. Watkins is survived by her daughter, Donna Watkins Posey (Bill) of N. Augusta, SC; her granddaughters, Leslie Posey Storm (Heinrich), and Megan Posey Pearson (Brent); her sister, Dorothy Rumfelt of Marion, NC; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend thanks to the wonderful staff at Hammond Place and Crescent Hospice for caring for their mom.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, from 12:00 o’clock until time of service at the funeral home.
