Harold Julian Huffman Sr.
Augusta, GA – Harold Julian Huffman Sr., 87, husband of Montine Huffman entered into rest August 1, 2021 at His residence.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday August 4, 2021, at 2:00 PM from Southside Baptist Church, 3612 Mike Padgett Highway, Augusta, Georgia 30906, with Reverend Jerry Price officiating.
Harold Huffman, son of the late Wylie Thomas Huffman and Lillie Mae Sweeney Huffman, was born in Augusta, Georgia on August 21, 1933. He worked at International Paper in Maintenance. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church where he was active in the Men’s Sunday School. He was also active in the nursing home ministry, homeless ministry, and an advocate for the unborn at Augusta Care Pregnancy Center.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul L. Huffman.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his children, Leila H. McWee, Harold J. Huffman Jr., Victoria, M. Redd (Barry), Ashley Cozart (Spencer), Patrick M. Huffman (Terina), Shannon Johnson (Darryl), Tara Dozier (Lane), Mikel R. Huffman; 24 Grandchildren; 53 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
