Frank Paul Tobakos
Martinez, GA –
Frank Paul Tobakos, 92, husband of 70 years to Melissa Chapin Tobakos, entered into rest Monday, January 4, 2021.
Mr. Tobakos, son of the late Elizabeth Turoczi Tobakos and John Tobakos, was born May 13, 1928, in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York, and retired as product manager for Georgia Iron Works, Grovetown, GA. He was the president of the Foundry Supply Manufacturers Association and served as national director of the American Foundry Society. He was a charter member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Evans, GA, and a member of the Pathways Sunday School class. Mr. Tobakos enjoyed playing golf, fishing, playing bridge with his friends, and spending summers at his lake house in Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Steven Tobakos and John Tobakos, and by his sister, Elizabeth Uhlean.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Paul Tobakos (Leslie), of White Lake, MI; his daughter, Lee Steiner (Bernard), of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren, William Steiner, of Savannah, GA, Kelly Habba (Ramiz), of Bloomfield Hills, MI, and James Tobakos, of Okemos, MI; his great grandchild, Amelia Habba; and numerous nieces and nephews.
