Elizabeth Hardy
Hephzibah, GA – Elizabeth Hardy, 58, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Piedmont Hospital.
Memorial services will be held Monday, April 11, 2022, at 3:00 o’clock from Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors with Pastor Erwin Veal officiating.
Ms. Hardy, daughter of the late Peggy Whisnant and Robert Lee Hardy, was born in Augusta, GA.
She is survived by her children, Robert Lee Blackmon (Kim Hutto), Mary Colleen Hall (Harvey Hall), Wayne Edward Gray; her grandchildren, Justin Lee Blackmon, Matthew Gregory Blackmon, Ashton Tyler Hall, and Preston Skyler Hall; her sisters, Loretta Lynn Daniels and Wanda Jean Cliett; her numerous nephews; ex husband Mackey Marvin Blackmon.
“We little knew that morning, that God would call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone; for parts of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love will be our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.”
