Douglas L. Johnson
Hephzibah, GA – Douglas L. Johnson, 78, entered into rest Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his Residence.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Bill Lively officiating.
Mr. Johnson, son of the late Gay Bridges Johnson and Bernard Lamar Johnson, was born in Sandersville, GA. He retired from Parts Warehouse & Medco as a salesperson. Mr. Johnson was in the Automotive Sales business for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his son, Troy L. Johnson.
He is survived by his children, Teresa Riddle (Robert), Darrell Johnson (Kristy); his grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Lexie Johnson, Chandler Johnson, Sam Mellinger (Caleb), Shelby Riddle, Bailey Riddle,
and great grandchildren; Brady and Lainey Mellinger; his close cousin, Faye Roberts of Atlanta, GA.
Pallbearers will be Chandler Johnson, Robert Riddle, Stephen Smith, David Smith, Donnie Hardy, and Steve Mason.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of the service, at the funeral home.
