Doris Irene Taylor
Augusta, GA – Doris Irene Taylor, 90, beloved wife of 66 years to the late Jack D. Taylor, entered into rest on Friday, March 5, 2021 at her residence.
Born in in Alabama, she was the daughter of the late John and Lonie McWhorter Ogle, and had made the Augusta area her home for most of her life. Mrs. Taylor was a hard working family oriented woman, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired following a career of over twenty years of service at University Hospital.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughters, Barbara C. Brewer, and Debra Sheppard (Gilbert); she had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, some of whom she raised as her own children.
For over nine years she was faithfully cared for by her loving caregivers, Marilyn Rollins, Emily Hillary and Sharon Duppen.
