Augusta, GA – Donna Arrington, 65, beloved wife of Mr. David Arrington, entered into rest on Friday, May 21, 2021, at University Hospital.
A memorial service will be held from the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors, on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Reese LeRoy officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Born in Augusta on June 1, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Myra Gregory Alexander, and had made the Augusta area her home all of her life. Mrs. Arrington had worked as a Supervisor for Carole Fabrics, was a hard worker who took pride in what she did for a living and had a very unique personality.
She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and being outside. She loved her animals, especially her dogs, and the Georgia Bulldogs.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Arrington is survived by her children, Jonathan Vick (Michelle) and Matthew Nattinger; her siblings, Barbara Carter (the late Bud Carter), Judy Key (Ted), and Eddie Alexander; her sister-in-law, Terri Arrington; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; six nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Johnny and I are so very saddened to learn about Donna. We had hoped she was doing much better. We pray for strength, comfort and healing for you and her family. Please know if you should need anything, we are right here for you. Take care of yourself and always always remember the good times and all of the years you shared together. She will live on in your heart forever.
