Darlene Redmond
Blythe, GA – Darlene Redmond, 82, wife of Jerry Bartley Redmond, entered into rest Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at her residence.Private services will be held.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 18, 2021, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Redmond, daughter of the late Alma Bernice Hodges Drews and Benjamin William Drews, was born in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Ladies Sunday school class.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Trent Redmond, Valerie C. Redmond, and Joy C. Collins (Marty); her grandchildren, Kati Venable (Chris), Aaron E. Cooper, Kyle Collins (Johanna), and Andrea Cooper; her great grandchild, Ellie Venable; her sister in law Barbara Drews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
