Martinez, GA – Charles Kevin “Cabbage” James, 67, entered into rest Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Doctors Hospital.
Private memorial services will be held. Friends and family may visit between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2020, at the funeral home.
Mr. James was self-employed in paint and bodyworks. He was passionate about playing pool and Georgia Bulldogs football. Mr. James loved his family, especially his two sons and three granddaughters. He was a friend to all.
Mr. James was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Elizabeth Rowland James and Vernon Elliott James; and his siblings, Phillip James, David James, Tammy Holmes, Donna Shea, and Sandra McDonald.
Mr. James is survived by his children, Jerry James (Sheri Kirkendoll), and Marcus James; his grandchildren, Meghan James Lowe (Marc), Maci James, and Maggie James; his sisters and brothers, Mary Alice “Sally” Britt, Joyce Quattlebaum (J.P.), Kenneth James (Paulette), Byron James (Susan), Chris James (Susan), Nancy Todd (Wayne), and Ted James (Christy); and many nieces and nephews.
