Cassie Margaret Hannon Cribb
Augusta, GA – Cassie Margaret Hannon Cribb, 83, wife of the late Waylon Cribb, entered into rest on Friday, February 19, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral services for family will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Dwayne Carter officiating.
She was born in Worth County, GA, to the late John and Bertha Shiver Hannon. She retired from teaching after 25 years and was a lifelong Christian who served for many years at Second Baptist Church of Augusta. She was also an active member of Calvary Baptist Church where she taught children and sang in the choir. The family said she loved spending time with her family, gardening and taking trips to the family farm.
She was preceded in death by her twin son and daughter, Andrew and Angela Cribb; her brother, John “Junior” Hannon and sister, Rachel Poitevint.
Survivors, include her children, Waylon Keith Cribb of Grovetown, GA and Wanda Baston (Donald) of Augusta, GA; siblings, Earlene Proctor of Murfreesboro, TN, Marie Fritts of Savannah, GA, Gail Snipes (Jimmy) of Poulan, GA, Grady Hannon (Eunice) of Greenville, SC and Herman Hannon (Frankie) of Tifton, GA; sister-in-law, Christine Hannon of Tifton, GA; grandchildren, Andrew Baston (Brittney) and Kayla Adkins (Ben) and two great-grandchildren, Genevieve “Evie” Adkins and Emily Baston .
Per CDC guidelines to the ongoing pandemic, masks and social distancing will be adhered to at all times.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
