Mrs. Edenfield, daughter of the late Irene Richardson Luckey and Judge Curtis Luckey, was a homemaker and a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class. She loved sewing and making quilts, gardening, walking, and exercising. She was the epitome of a Southern Christian lady and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ernest “Ernie” Maurice Edenfield; her brother, Sonny Luckey; and her sister, Mary Joy Pippin.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Edenfield Tucker (Paul); her daughter in law, Laurie Edenfield, North Augusta; her grandchildren, Shelly Tucker Walker (Bruce), and Paul “Trey” B. Tucker III; her great grandchildren, Madeline Irene Walker, Hagan Edenfield Walker, Mary Janet Cone Walker, Bryce Young Walker, Miller “Millie” Kate Walker, and Mae Franklin Walker; her brother, Grady A. Luckey, Sr. (Kaye), Atlanta; and one niece and several nephews.
